We honor Dr. Senator Donzella James, a distinguished Georgia State Senator first elected in 1995 and re-elected in 2009. Currently representing District 28 since January 13, 2025, she serves as Chairwoman of the Senate Urban Affairs Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Interstate Cooperation Committee, among other key legislative roles. Dr. Senator James’s enduring leadership and dedication to her community continue to inspire.
