Currently representing District 28 since January 13, 2025, she serves as Chairwoman of the Senate Urban Affairs Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Interstate Cooperation Committee, among other key legislative roles. Dr. Senator James’s enduring leadership and dedication to her community continue to inspire.
